The apparatus is used for
determining the fineness of cement in terms of specific surface
expressed as total surface area in square centimeters per gram of
cement. This is a variable flow type air permeameter.
Salient Features
- The apparatus consists of a "U" tube manometer with a
built in stop cock, a stainless steel permeability cell, a
perforated metal disk, a stainless steel plunger, a rubber stopper,
and a rubber tube with rubber bulb.
- The apparatus is mounted on a finished wood panel with
rubber-footed base.
- Consists of a packet of 12 filter paper discs and a bottle of 100
cc dibutylphthalate liquid.

- A wooden stand with 'U' tube monometer with stop cock.
