particularly their capability of holding or storing an electrical
charge. It is very important to conduct capacitance testing to detect
any leakage in capacitors, which may reduce overall effectiveness of a
circuit or lead to electrical breakdown of a device.

- The tester can be either handheld or placed on a tabletop.
- These testers are mostly portable and includes test leads that
attach to a circuit to evaluate the quality of a capacitor or
condenser.
- Capacitance testers measure different ranges of charge.
- The device may also include a probe, called capacitance probe for

to reach with test leads, or where materials being tested are wet or
