Flash point apparatus is
a petroleum testing equipment for determining the flash point of fuels,
lube oils, solvents and other liquids.
The flash point is the lowest temperature at which the vapor formed
above a pool of the liquid ignites in air at a pressure of 1 atmosphere.
Salient Features

operated by spring having pilot jet, stirrer and a flexible shaft.
- The entire unit rests on an air bath, which is covered with a
dome shaped metal top.
- The test cup is equipped with insulated handle and a locking
arrangement near cup flange.
- The apparatus is held on a round shaped electric heater supplied
with temperature regulator.
- The apparatus conforms to international standards.
